" So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it "

Hello Reader,
I’m so grateful you’re here again this week.
It seems like every day, the world grows louder—more distractions, more responsibilities, more expectations pulling us in every direction.
And if we’re honest, it doesn’t take much for our hearts to wander. Not intentionally, not rebelliously — just gradually, quietly… almost without noticing.
That’s exactly why this week’s verse is so important.
It speaks to something every one of us wrestles with: staying grounded in what we know is true.
Faith isn’t something we set on a shelf and revisit when life slows down. It’s something we hold close, something we protect, something we pay attention to.
This isn’t a verse of condemnation — it’s a verse of invitation. An invitation to come back to center. To re-anchor ourselves in God’s truth.

A Little History...
The Book of Hebrews was written to early Jewish Christians who were struggling under pressure—some tempted to abandon their faith and return to old traditions.
The writer of Hebrews urges them to remain steadfast, reminding them that Jesus is greater than angels, prophets, or any system of worship that came before.
Chapter 2 begins with a warning rooted in love: pay attention to what you’ve heard. The image of “drifting away” suggests a slow, subtle movement—like a boat that slips from its anchor when no one is watching.
It’s not rebellion that causes the drift, but neglect.
Faith doesn’t stay strong by accident—it grows through intentional connection with God’s Word and consistent trust in His promises.

How to Apply It To Your Life...
🌿 Life Applications
🌿 Stay Anchored in Truth The world offers countless voices and opinions, but only God’s Word provides lasting truth. Stay rooted by spending time in Scripture, letting His voice guide your thoughts and choices.
🌿 Guard Against Spiritual Drift Drifting often happens slowly. A missed prayer here, a forgotten reflection there—and before long, the heart feels distant. Keep your faith anchored through prayer, worship, and community.
🌿 Listen with Intentionality Faith grows when we not only hear God’s Word but respond to it. Listening carefully means letting truth sink deep enough to shape how we live, speak, and love.

Let's Pray Together...
Lord God Almighty, Help me so that I do not drift from Your Word or Your ways.
Keep me anchored to You when the world tries to pull me in every direction.
Strengthen my faith until it is firm, steady, and unmovable.
I need You more each day, and I long to apply Your teachings and Your loving grace to my life and to the lives of others.
Make my faith grow deeper so I may follow Your commands and remain obedient to all You have shown me.
Thank You for Your constant grace and mercy.
Amen.

Let's Sum It All Up...
Today's verse reminds us that faith isn’t something we hold onto once—it’s something we nurture daily.
God’s truth keeps us steady when life feels uncertain, but we must listen closely and guard our hearts against drift.
This week, take a moment to pause and ask: Am I anchored to God’s truth, or am I slowly drifting?
The beauty of grace is that even when we realize we’ve drifted, we can always return—God’s anchor never moves.
If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who might be feeling distant from God.
Let’s continue praying for one another—and for this newsletter—that we may all stay grounded, listening carefully to the voice that leads us home.
Go out there and have a blessed day!
Quentin.
