He Loved Us First- Get Closer To God

Romans 5:8 (NKJV)

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

He Loved Us First.

Hello Reader,

There are moments when we question whether we are worthy of love—certainly after we've sinned, messed up.

This passage answers that question with stunning clarity. God’s love is not earned, negotiated, or conditional.

It was demonstrated at our lowest point.

This verse reminds us that God didn’t wait for us to improve before loving us—He loved us first.

How to Apply It To Your Life...

🌿

Receive Love Without Earning It
Stop striving to qualify for God’s love—it has already been given through Christ.

✝️

Let Grace Silence Shame
When guilt tries to define you, remember that Christ’s sacrifice speaks louder.

🕊️

Love Others the Same Way
Just as God loved you at your worst, extend grace to others when they least expect it.

Let's Pray Together...

Dear God,
I come before You acknowledging that I have fallen short and sinned, and I ask for Your forgiveness.

Sometimes it is hard to comprehend the depth of the love You have for me.

Thank You for loving me first—and for continuing to love me even when I fail.

Your love is unconditional, unwavering, and beyond my understanding. Help me to rest in that truth and walk forward renewed by Your grace.

Amen.

Have A Blessed Day Out There.

In Romans 5, the Apostle Paul explains the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the grace available through Him.

He highlights the difference between our human weaknesses and God's amazing mercy. It’s a powerful reminder that Christ didn’t die for the righteous, but for all of us sinners.

Go out into the world today, knowing that God loved you first. We are human and make mistakes, but God will never give up on us.

Quentin.
