Hear My Cry- Get Closer to God

Psalm 40:1 (NLT)

"I waited patiently for the LORD to help me; and he turned to me and heard my cry."

Hear My Cry...

Hello Reader,

Thank you for subscribing to this letter.

It's a New Year, and I thought it might be time for a "new look."

I will continue to listen to feedback and make changes as needed, but the goal will always remain the same: to incorporate a piece of scripture into our daily lives and, in doing so, draw closer to God.

Today, we observe how King David reflects during a season of deep distress followed by deliverance.

David remembers a time when he had no quick solution and was compelled to wait on God instead of relying on his own strength.

The verse emphasizes trust, patience, and confidence that God hears the cries of His people—even when answers take time.

How to Apply It To Your Life...

🌿

Trust the Wait

Waiting on God is an active choice to trust His timing, even when silence feels uncomfortable.

✝️

He Hears You

God hears every prayer, especially the ones spoken in desperation and weakness.

🕊️

Faith Grows Here

Patience in hardship deepens faith and prepares us to recognize God’s hand when help comes.

Let's Pray Together...

Dear God,
Right now, life feels heavy and uncertain, and I need Your help. Things are not unfolding the way I hoped, but I trust that You hear me. I know You hear my cry and see my moments of despair, but I also know that Your love for me is louder, deeper, and stronger than anything I face.

Please guide me through these trials and challenges, give me the strength to endure, and fill my heart with hope. Remind me of Your promise for a better tomorrow, and help me to trust You even while I wait.

Amen.

Have a blessed day out there...

God hears us; we just have to trust Him and pray diligently. I've witnessed the power of prayer at work in my own life and the lives of others; it's real, and God does listen.

I hope you continue to pray and make scripture a part of your everyday life, sharing it with others. You'll see a significant positive change in your life.

Blessings,

Quentin.
