Don't Give Up- Get Closer To God

Don't Give Up.

"So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up."

- Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

Hello Reader,

You know, there are seasons when doing the right thing feels exhausting.

When effort goes unnoticed, prayers seem unanswered, or progress feels painfully slow, it’s easy to wonder if perseverance is worth it.

Scripture speaks directly into those moments—not with pressure, but with reassurance.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us that faithfulness is never forgotten.

God sees the quiet obedience, the unseen sacrifices, and the steady commitment to doing good, even when the results aren’t immediate.

A Little History...

Paul wrote the letter to the Galatians to encourage believers who were struggling to remain faithful amid confusion, discouragement, and spiritual fatigue.

In chapter 6, Paul shifts toward practical Christian living—how believers should treat one another, carry burdens, and remain steadfast in doing good.

This verse is not about striving harder, but about trusting God’s timing. The “harvest” Paul speaks of is both spiritual and eternal.

It comes not through force or impatience, but through steady perseverance rooted in faith.

The promise is clear: faithfulness, sustained over time, will bear fruit.

How to Apply It To Your Life...

🌿 Keep Showing Up in Faith
Even when you don’t see immediate results, continue doing what is good—loving others, praying faithfully, and trusting God with the outcome. Perseverance means believing that God is working behind the scenes, and that in His perfect timing, your faithfulness will bear fruit.

Let's Pray Together...

Dear God,
There are moments when I feel empty and unable to give any more.

In those times, I ask for Your strength to lift me up and carry me forward.

The world can be heavy and difficult, and I long to rest in Your grace and mercy when life feels overwhelming.

Be my refuge, my shelter, and my hope.

Thank You for all You have already done in my life, and lead me forward with renewed confidence, trust, and faith in You.

Amen.

Let's Put It All Together...

Today's verse gently reminds us that perseverance is an act of hope. When we continue doing good, loving, serving, trusting—we place our confidence not in immediate results, but in God’s perfect timing.

If you’re feeling weary, let this verse encourage you today. You are not forgotten.

Your faithfulness matters.

And in God’s time, the harvest will come.

As you move forward this week, don’t give up.

God is still at work—often in ways we cannot yet see.

Have a blessed day out there,

Quentin.
