"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

Hello Reader,
We’ve reached the final week of Advent.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve reflected on hope, peace, and joy—each one pointing us closer to the heart of Christmas.
Now, in this final stretch toward Christmas Day, we arrive at the foundation of them all: love.
Advent love is not sentimental or shallow.
It’s not wrapped up in decorations, gifts, or perfect moments.
It is deep, sacrificial, and transformative.
This week’s verse reminds us that Christmas begins not in a manger, but in the heart of God—a God who loves so deeply that He chose to give Himself for us.

A Little History...
John 3:16 is one of the most well-known verses in Scripture, yet its depth is endless. Spoken by Jesus Himself, these words reveal the motivation behind His coming: love.
God did not send His Son out of obligation or anger—but out of compassion for a broken world. The incarnation—God becoming flesh—was the ultimate act of love. Jesus entered human weakness, suffering, and limitation so that we could experience forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life.
In Advent, we remember that God’s love did not remain distant. It moved toward us. It took on skin and bones. It was laid in a manger and eventually stretched out on a cross.
Love is not merely something God does. Love is who God is.

How to Apply It To Your Life...
🌿 Life Applications
🌿 Receive God’s Love Personally Before we can give love away, we must receive it. Let this week be a reminder that God’s love is for you—fully, freely, and without condition.
🌿 Let Love Shape Your Actions Advent love calls us to reflect Christ in how we treat others—with patience, humility, forgiveness, and grace, especially when it’s difficult.
🌿 Live as One Who Is Loved When we live from a place of being deeply loved by God, fear loses its grip and generosity grows. Christ’s love empowers us to live boldly and faithfully.

Let's Pray Together...
Dear Father in heaven, You sent Your Son to save us from our sins and to reveal the depth of Your love for us.
Even when we fall short, You still love us.
Even when we have done nothing to deserve it, Your love remains constant and true.
Thank You for all You have given me through Your mercy and grace, and help me to dwell always in the fullness of Your love.
This week, I am reminded of the miracle of Your Son taking on earthly form—choosing to live among us, to teach us how to love, and to offer His life so that I may live eternally with Him, with You, my Father, and with the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Let's Sum It All Up...
As Advent comes to a close, we remember that Christmas is the celebration of love made visible.
God saw our need and responded not with distance, but with devotion. Not with judgment, but with mercy.
This week, slow down and reflect on the depth of God’s love for you. Carry that love with you into Christmas Day—and beyond—knowing that the greatest gift has already been given.
If this message encourages you, share it with someone who needs to be reminded that they are deeply loved.
And let us continue to pray for one another, that the love of Christ may fill our hearts and shape our lives long after the season ends.
Have a Blessed Christmas,
Quentin.
