Welcome to my newsletter!
Hello Reader,
I’m truly grateful you’re here! You know, a single verse can truly change everything for the better.
Today's verse is one of those.
We encounter adversity constantly in this world. When things don't go our way, we often allow desperation to creep in and take over.
God has our back. He is with us; all we have to do is let Him into our lives.
King David wrote many of the Psalms, which express praise and worship. However, he often reached out to God when he faced trouble and needed His intervention.

A Little History...
This was written by David during a difficult season in his life—specifically after he fled from King Saul and pretended to be insane before Abimelek (1 Samuel 21).
This psalm is a song of praise and testimony about God's faithfulness and deliverance during times of deep fear and trouble.
David had experienced fear, rejection, and desperation—yet he declares that even in the lowest moments, God is near to those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit.
Can you relate to his situation? If so, God is closer than you think, and always ready to stand by your side and lift you up.

How to Apply It To Your Life...
Be Honest About Your Pain
Instead of hiding your hurt or pretending you're okay, bring your brokenness to God. He’s not distant—He promises to be close when you're crushed or grieving. 🔹 Application: Start your prayers with raw honesty. Say, “God, I’m struggling… and I need You.”
Let God Comfort You Daily
When you're feeling low, resist the urge to isolate. Turn to Scripture, worship, or sit in silence with God—He’s near, even if you don’t feel it. 🔹 Application: Create a quiet space each day to let God meet you in your emotions.
Be a Comfort to Others
This verse is also a reminder to be like God in how we care for others—draw close to those who are brokenhearted. 🔹 Application: Reach out to a friend who is going through something hard. A kind message or listening ear can reflect God’s nearness.

Let's Pray Together...
Dear Lord, my Father in heaven,
I’m going through a really tough time right now. It feels like everything is working against me, and it’s hard to see anything good. My heart feels heavy, and my spirit is tired and worn out.
Please be near to me. I need Your strength, Your peace, and Your presence more than ever. Remind me that I’m not alone and that with You by my side, I can make it through.
Hear my cry, Lord—I’m trusting You, even in the middle of this storm.
Amen.
