Christ is Risen!
Hello Reader,
Welcome to the newsletter! Thank you for taking the time today to make Scripture a part of your life.
Yes, just a few days ago, we celebrated Easter. The risen savior is here.
Today's verse speaks to what Jesus can do and has already done for your life.
It teaches us about the peace we have in Christ and the realities we will face during our time here on earth.
Through Christ's suffering and resurrection, He has conquered sin, death, and all that the world can challenge us with!
For the disciples at that time, these were words of hope during a period of fear, despair, and persecution.
Today serves as a reminder that no matter how chaotic this world becomes, Jesus has already won, and we can find peace in Him.

A Little History...
This is from the Gospel of the Apostle John, one of Jesus’ twelve disciples and part of His inner circle. Likely written between AD 85–95, making it one of the later Gospels.
John’s Gospel was written after the other three (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) and is more reflective, focusing on the spiritual and theological meaning of Jesus’ life and teachings.
This verse is part of Jesus’ final teaching to His disciples before His arrest—what’s often called the Farewell Discourse.
Jesus had just told them about His upcoming departure (death, resurrection, and ascension), the coming of the Holy Spirit, and the persecution they would face.

How to Apply It To Your Life...
Rest in His Peace
Even in chaotic or uncertain times, Jesus invites you to find lasting peace in Him. This peace is rooted in the assurance that He is in control, even when you feel otherwise. When life feels unstable, Jesus remains your unshakable anchor.
Application: In moments of anxiety, pause and pray: “Jesus, help me rest in the peace only You can give.” Remember, peace is not found in perfection—it's found in His presence.
Expect Trials, Don’t Fear Them
Jesus was upfront: life in this world will include pain, grief, and opposition. But His honesty is actually comforting—it prepares us, not to panic, but to face trials with courage. The presence of trouble doesn’t mean the absence of God. He walks through every storm with you.
Application: When hardship hits, don’t be surprised or disillusioned. Instead, ask, “Lord, how can I grow through this?” Let trials become opportunities for trust and transformation.
Live from Victory, Not for It
Jesus didn’t say He will overcome—He said He already has. As a believer, you're not struggling to earn a win—you’re walking in the victory Jesus already secured on the cross. That changes everything: how you pray, how you fight temptation, and how you handle spiritual battles.
Application: When you feel overwhelmed, remind yourself: “I’m not fighting for victory—I'm standing in it.” Let that confidence guide your thoughts, choices, and faith walk.

Let's Pray Together...
Dear Jesus,
Help me overcome my fears and doubts. I know You have conquered sin, death, and every trouble this world can bring. Be my refuge and my Savior.
When I feel overwhelmed, I cry out for Your saving grace. I need You in my daily struggles—with temptation, distractions, and anything that pulls me away from the life You’ve called me to live.
Today, I ask for the peace that only You can provide—the peace You made possible by paying the ultimate price for my salvation.
Thank You for loving me so deeply. Amen.

Let's Sum It All Up...
During Easter, we celebrate, but we must carry the message of the cross into our daily lives.
Jesus is truthful. We will face challenges in our lives. The Christian life is not about evading the difficulties and hardships that come our way.
He wants us to experience real peace, not just the temporary kind that comes from worldly pleasures. Instead, He offers us lasting peace that can only be found in Him and the redemption that comes through His sacrifice on the cross.
Life may be difficult, but Jesus is always with us until the end of time. We are never alone when we believe and trust in Him.
Imagine the joy you could bring by sharing this uplifting verse and message today!
Many people face challenges, and I believe this can brighten their day and make a positive difference in their lives.
May you find peace and many blessings this week.
