Inspired to Share

"But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—
the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God."

- Acts 20:24 (NLT)

Hello Reader,

Welcome to this week's newsletter.

Have you ever felt a strong urge to deepen your faith and share God’s message, yet found yourself held back by fear?

Today, let's explore a verse that captures the experiences of the Apostles in the early days of the church, offering inspiration for overcoming those challenges.

Their primary mission was to share the Word of God with everyone willing to listen.

The early disciples were dedicated to spreading this message.

Despite facing considerable opposition, they remained a positive force in a world overwhelmed by idolatry and immoral behavior.

Today, let's find inspiration and motivation to show others what Jesus and the Word of God have done for us and what it can do for them.

A Little History...

This verse is part of a farewell speech the Apostle Paul gives to the elders of the church in Ephesus, while he’s on his way to Jerusalem.

Paul had spent around three years in Ephesus, building up the church there, and now he knows that suffering and possible death await him in Jerusalem.

Paul shares that he feels compelled by the Holy Spirit to go to Jerusalem, despite the fact that trials and imprisonment are likely.

Yet, he’s unshaken by the danger. Why? Because his life isn’t about comfort or safety—it’s about finishing the mission Jesus gave him: sharing the Gospel of grace.

How to Apply It To Your Life...

Live with Eternal Purpose

Paul reminds us that a meaningful life isn’t measured by comfort, success, or recognition—but by how faithfully we live out our calling from God.

Every believer has been entrusted with a purpose, whether through ministry, service, encouragement, or daily witness.

🔹 How to apply this: Regularly ask, “Am I using my time, energy, and talents for God’s mission or just my own comfort?”

Be Bold in Sharing the Gospel

Paul’s mission was clear: spread the message of God’s grace. This isn't just for apostles or pastors—every believer is invited to share Christ in their words and actions.

🔹 How to apply this: Look for everyday moments to talk about your faith—at work, with family, or online.

Persevere Through Opposition or Fear

Paul knew hardship was ahead, but he didn’t let fear stop him. He trusted that the One who called him would carry him through. Likewise, when you know your purpose, it gives you courage to keep going—even when the path is hard.

🔹 How to apply this: When fear or discouragement hits, remind yourself: “My calling is bigger than my comfort.”

Let's Pray Together...

Dear God,

Give me the strength and confidence to share Your message with others. I admit there are times when I feel tired, discouraged, or unmotivated—but I know Your truth is always worth sharing.

In a world filled with negativity and distraction, help me be a light that reflects Your love. Remind me that every act of faith, no matter how small, matters in Your kingdom. When I feel overwhelmed or hesitant, fill me with boldness, joy, and the deep desire to live out Your Word.

Help me answer Your call—not just in words, but in how I live each day, and allow me to share it with others.

Amen.

Let's Sum It All Up...

Our call from Jesus is not only to live according to the Word but also to share its message with others, which may require us to step out of our comfort zones.

Consider the challenging task the first disciples faced as they took the Word of God to unfamiliar lands, often traveling on foot and relying on word of mouth.

They frequently encountered opposition and even feared for their lives.

Note how much times have changed and how things have evolved.

In many ways, sharing God's Word is easier for us today. We have resources that allow us to connect with people all over the world in seconds, enabling us to make a meaningful impact on someone's life.

All we need to do is trust our purpose and be bold when the opportunity arises to share how the Good News of the Gospel can transform lives.

Let's make an effort to do this today. I hope you will share this message and let the verse inspire you to be the messenger that God has created you to be.

My hopes and prayers are with you each day.

Please pray for me also as I try to make this letter and its purpose reach more people every week.

Have a blessed day out there,

Quentin
