God Will Never Tempt You-Get Closer To God

James 1:13

“And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, ‘God is tempting me.’ God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.”

God will never tempt you.

Hello Reader,

In this world we live in, we are tempted daily.

It's like we have to have a filter on us at all times, because everything comes at us, good and bad.

What's most important about today's verse is that we must remember temptations do not come from God.

He's here to help us, never to hurt us.

The Apostle James writes to believers facing trials and spiritual testing. He carefully distinguishes between trials, which God can use to strengthen faith, and temptation, which does not come from God.

Always remember, temptation arises from human weakness and desire

God is holy, helpful, and never the source of evil.

How to Apply It To Your Life...

🌿

Trust God’s Character
When temptation comes, remember that God is never working against you—He is always for your good and your growth.

✝️

Take Responsibility with Grace
Recognizing where temptation truly comes from allows you to face it honestly, without shame, and with dependence on God’s help.

🕊️

Run Toward God, Not Away
Instead of distancing yourself from God in moments of struggle, draw closer—His strength and wisdom are what carry you through.

Let's Pray Together...

Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that nothing evil comes from You, and that You would never tempt me.

Help me guard my heart and mind against the schemes of the enemy and all that seeks to pull me away from You.

Lead me and guide me each day to make wise choices, to turn away from what is harmful, and to walk in what is good and life-giving.

Be my rock and my shield.

Give me perseverance to stand firm and to live as an example of Your Word in a world that often offers what looks appealing but is not good for me.

Grant me discernment to recognize the right path and the courage to follow it faithfully.

In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.

Have A Blessed Day Out There.

Whether it's TV, movies, books, social media, or any other daily distraction, it's real, raw, and will show us things we may not want in our lives, and it's tempting to just let it in.

Always remember, if it isn't positive and pure, with good intentions, it's not from God.

He will never tempt us.

He is in our lives to help us overcome temptation and live a life that He intended for us.

He overcame the world, and He wants you to overcome it too!

Let's continue praying, helping those in need, and getting closer to God.

Quentin.
